Google Maps will be back on iPhones & iPads

Some days before we’ve heard that Apple has launched Apple Maps, its own mapping system. But its not getting popularity like Google Maps so Apple have decided to relaunch GMaps on their devices.

The main reason behind this is the inability to show data as comprehensive as Google. Google’s executive Jeff Huber has confirmed it will be released soon for Apple’s latest iOS 6 platform. (more…)

Android devices to get offline Google Maps access

At the event held in San Francisco offices, the Google Maps team has announced that soon all the android devices will get offline access to GMaps.

Other than this they have also added a fly-by 3D view feature of the Google Earth & possibly Maps. The most interesting thing about this view is that you can also access GMaps on the devices such as tablets & smartphones. (more…)

Google has launched a new version of their most popular Google Maps application especially for Android devices.

Google Currents hits UK!

Google Currents hits UKFinally Google has launched Google Currents an online source of magazine content and articles for all the smartphones and tablet users.

Although the app was already available in the US since the end of last year but now it made its way to UK. Users can access content from over 400 publishers and over 14,000 self-published articles. (more…)

Is Google launching Cloud-Based storage service?

Like Microsoft’s Skydrive and Apple’s iCloud services Google is going to launch its own cloud-based storage solution called Drive.

The service provides users a certain amount of free online storage to keep their files, documents and music.
