admin We know that Apple’s products are by far the best in the market but the BlackBerry’s Bold Touch 9900′s release has given a tough challenge to the Apple’s iPhone. But can it beat the most amazing iPhone 4S? Let us give a closer look at the differentiating points between the two.
Design:
The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 has a dimension of 115 X 66 X 10.5 mm whereas the other handset comes in the dimensions of 115.2 X 58.6 X 9.3 mm. Weight wise, the BlackBerry model is just 130 g whereas the iPhone 4S weighs around 137 g. So, it’s an advantage for the BlackBerry lovers. People who want to use a light weight phone can prefer BlackBerry. Even look wise, both of them are completely different from each other. The Apple’s iPhone 4S has an awesome look with full touchscreen while the BlackBerry comes up with both a screen and a keyboard. So, so full feature of touchscreen is not present in Blackberry.
Processor/Storage:
The Apple iPhone 4S has a dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A9 processor with 512 MB which makes it very fast whereas the BlackBerry Bold has 1.2 GHz processor. The iPhone also provides storage of either 8GB/16GB or 32 GB. So, if you want to store lots and lots of music, videos, and documents then you will definitely find 4S helpful. This is because BlackBerry doesn’t provide much storage. This would be an advantage for iPhone lovers. It also comes up with audio/video editor and voice dictation ability known as ‘Siri’ which is absent in BlackBerry Bold.
Display:
The iPhone 4S provides a screen of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 640 X 940 pixels. It has an oleophobic coating and a scratch resistant glass whereas the BlackBerry Bold Touch lacks all of these. It just provides a screen of 2.8 inches which is a bit smaller than the iPhone. So, if you want to have a bigger screen with good visual ability then iPhone is the best choice.
Camera Specifications and Battery:
The camera of BlackBerry Bold 9900 is of 5 megapixel whereas iPhone 4S is of 8 megapixel. So with 4S, you are able to click very good quality and sharp images which are not possible in the BlackBerry though both of them provides the same features such as geo tagging, face detection and image stabilization. Even in terms of battery, iPhone 4S provides a powerful battery of 1432 mAh whereas the BlackBerry just provides 1230 mAh. So, 4S definitely gives you a better and long lasting battery life.
Thus, the differences between the both are given. It is totally up to you to which you should prefer. But according to my point of view, you should go for iPhone 4S as it stands better than the other in some points. So, I think it is definitely worth buying and if you are still left to buy then go for it.
